About Me

What inspired me to begin this blog was born from the intertwining paths of my career in Real Estate and my life as a traveling expat spouse a mother of two, plus one beloved furry member. Over the last 24 years, from Manila to Copenhagen, New York,  Manila, Bangkok, and now Istanbul, I’ve come to deeply appreciate the incredibly diverse aspects of this nomadic lifestyle—the places we’ve explored, the people who’ve left enduring impressions, the cuisines that have delighted our senses, and the evolving dreams of what we call home. 

I’m a Filipina married to a Dane and a proud mom to two wonderful, kind grown-up kids. Now an empty nester, my husband and I travel with Bruno, our beloved expat dog who remains a constant source of joy and companionship wherever we go. I aspire to vividly capture these experiences in my writing, providing insights from the unique perspective of a dedicated expat partner. This space serves as an homage to those who share this journey, celebrating the flexibility, adaptability, and resilience that are honed through living such a life. It is replete with stories of determination, innovation, and heartfelt reflections, all casting light on the deep wisdom derived from our transient existence.
